Vauxhall's factory at Ellesmere Port is to be one of four plants in Europe that will build the new Astra.
We can collect large items such as sofas, mattress, fridges, freezers, TV's and any furniture that requires disposal. Telephone 0151 356 6740/ 6742 to arrange a collection day.
The charge for the service is £22 per load. Each load can include several items, depending upon their size.
Your old furniture could be donated to local charities that specialise in recycling furniture. Please see the link below for further details about local charities that offer the service.
You can recycle electrical goods by taking them to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre either at Garth Road, Ellesmere Port or Neston Clayhill Industrial Estate. For more information please click link below.
Some electrical stores offer 'take back' schemes if you purchase an item with the store. Ask at stores for further details of how they can recycle your old electrical goods.
The large waste collection does not include builders' rubble. The disposal of builders' rubble will require a skip. Click on the link below for prices and details about the skip service.
