The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
Ellesmere Port & Neston Borough Council's Public Spaces Unit is responsible for doorstep collection of domestic waste and recycling materials, as well as street cleaning, skip hire and trade waste. The county council is responsible for household waste and recycling centres.
