Vauxhall's factory at Ellesmere Port is to be one of four plants in Europe that will build the new Astra.

When you follow the Application Search link to our planning website, you should see the search box displayed on the right.
Using the Application Search
If you need to search the application list, the following hints may help you find what you want. Entries are not case-sensitive.
If you want to display the entire list of applications, then leave all fields empty and just hit the search button. Remember the system will atke a minute or two to return all results.
Reference: This is for the planning application reference number. The system will only accept the whole number and not an extract from it.
Location: Type in the address if you know it, or area (e.g. Little Sutton or Burton). This will pick up outline applications to build on land that, technically at least, doesn't have an address yet. Try the term 'land adjacent' to pick up outline applications, too.
Postcode: A full postcode or the first part of it (e.g. CH65) will produce a result. Entering the second half of a postcode will not.
Applicant: Enter the name of the person or company concerned. For example, typing in shell will bring back all of that company's planning applications, usually since 1993.
Ward: Is the electoral ward the application falls into and is accessed by a drop down menu.
Note: When the planning database fails to find what you are looking for, it will display the message 'No row returned'.
