The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
A planning application has been submitted by Simons Development Ltd, M&S and CC Trading,P/2008/101/WH/355, on land at Longlooms Road, Cheshire Oaks Ellesmere Port.
The application covers plans for the erection of two storey Marks and Spencer retail store (18, 116sqm) and includes decked and Surface Car Parking, New Access Road & Associated Works.
After the initial consultation amendments have been submitted for the above proposed development. The authority would be pleased to receive any comments you may wish to make on the amended proposal before any decision is made.
