Vauxhall's factory at Ellesmere Port is to be one of four plants in Europe that will build the new Astra.
· The landlords' forum meets three or four times a year, for about one and half hours, and covers a number of issues that directly affect private landlords. As well as standard agenda items, new developments and new legislation that have an impact on landlords are covered at the meetings. Presentations are made by council staff and guest speakers on a range of issues. There is plenty of opportunity for landlords to contribute to discussion on topical issues.
· General information booklets are available to those who attend as well as specific handbooks such as the council's HMO guide for landlords.
· The forum is used as a key source of feedback during the consultation and development stages for the implementation of the Private Sector Housing Renewal Strategy.
