The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
Working with landlords to improve property and management of houses for tenants in the private rented sector. All landlords are welcome to join as long as their properties and management processes meet the standards contained in the scheme. Support is available for those landlords who need to improve their properties or management standards. Membership is for three years, is initially free, and provides a number of benefits:
· An improved image for potential lenders
· A lower turnover of tenants
· An advantage to attract new tenants
· Access to a rent deposit scheme
· Discounts with local building firms and suppliers
· Access to training programmes
· Accreditation list available to potential tenants and agencies
· Less chance of statutory action by the council
