Vauxhall's factory at Ellesmere Port is to be one of four plants in Europe that will build the new Astra.
The Housing Allocations Policy Working Group has completed its review of the council's housing allocations policy. The working group included two tenant representatives. They recommended a number of changes to the policy including:
There was wide consultation during the review of the allocations policy with all applicants on the Home Seekers List, the Community Housing Panel, the Tenant/Resident Consultative Panel, local voluntary groups, tenants associations, health and social care agencies and registered social landlords.
The new allocations policy was adopted by the council on 15th April. All those on the Homes Seekers List have been advised of their housing need points based on the new allocations policy.
