| Rewiring | We are continuing to carry out 10 year electrical safety checks throughout the borough. In addition we are due to complete rewiring works to 179 properties by the end of March 2009. |
Roof Replacement ![]() | Phase 6 of the scheme to replace the old flat roofs on the MOS houses in Little Sutton is continuing apace. A further 22 properties are having the works carried out to put pitched roofs onto the blocks. We are joining with the owner occupiers in the area so that this work can be done. We are also putting pitched roofs onto 25 of the properties in Girton Rd/ Eton Rd in Wolverham and carrying out some remedial works to the properties. |
Kitchen and Bathroom Renewal![]() | We are currently working on 28 properties in the Westminster![]() area to replace kitchens and bathrooms. Further properties are currently being surveyed in order to have the work done. Tenants have been able to choose from a range of modern kitchen units, bathroom suites and accompanying tiles for the walls and flooring. |
| Lead Mains Replacement | We have just completed surveys to 94 properties in the borough and are about to begin work to replace lead mains to these.

| Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation | A programme of works began in August throughout the borough to replace and upgrade loft insulation and install cavity wall insulation.

| External Painting Programme including Window and Door Replacements as necessary | Work to properties on the first phase in Little Sutton is due to be completed by November this year and those in Great Sutton by December. |
Over-cladding schemes![]() | We are over-cladding two blocks of Cornish unit properties in Eccleston Ave. Work is due to begin soon. We are also in the process of over-cladding 11 bungalows in Rugby Road. |
| Central Heating | We are continuing to upgrade and renew central heating systems as necessary, throughout the borough. |
| Miscellaneous | We will continue to provide dropped kerbs and carriage crossovers throughout the borough and to install verge hardening where there is repeated damage to the grass verges. |
