Neston & Ellesmere Port Federation of Tenants' & Residents' Associations

NEFTRA
Working together in partnership

The Column written especially for tenants, by tenants!

NEFTRA is here to help any tenant and resident who would like advice or assistance on any issue. We can also help you become involved in the council's decision making processes, or help you set up a tenants' and residents' association in your area!

We are all volunteers, and receive no payment or special treatment.

We have been working with council officers and some councillors to try and encourage more tenants to become involved. There are lots of ways tenants can be involved, from filling in a survey every now and again, to starting a tenants' and residents' association. It is very important that tenants and leaseholders can play a part in how our homes are managed. NEFTRA works in partnership with the Housing Services Group and we have played a big part in some recent major decisions, such as what should be in your new tenancy agreement. We'd love to hear from you if you think you would like to get involved.

NEFTRA currently has an office in Ellesmere Port Civic Hall and are there each weekday except Wednesday from 10:00am until 12 noon.
We can be contacted by phone on 356 6430 and by e mail on neftra@epnbc.gov.uk
