The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
The Residents' Parking Scheme run by Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council provides on street parking for people who live in areas near to the town centre which suffer from parking and congestion problems
