Public Spaces Unit

Public Spaces Unit's objectives are:-

  1. To provide a fully integrated parks and open space and waste management service that is sustainable, meets national statutory targets and makes a significant contribution to the quality of life of the community. This will include the effective management, maintenance, cleaning, enhancement and improvement of all roads, streets, parks, play areas and other open areas and spaces accessible to the public, including the preparation, maintaining, review and implementation of appropriate strategies for those purposes.
  2. To work effectively in partnership with other agencies to provide a high quality caring bereavement service for the bereaved and local community.
